Branding - The Lightbox
Challenge
This art gallery and museum was embarking on a £5.5m new building project which would give the Woking town centre a new cultural arts center and museum. Woking Galleries recognized that their name limited their appeal to visitors and didn’t necessarily represent the personality they wished to portray. A Different View was asked to facilitate a brand identity process with key stakeholders and senior management and to assist them to develop an action plan to deliver their new brand experience.The Work
Our work consisted of:
- Facilitated sessions to define the brand essence, creating the brand statement and repositioning Woking Galleries in light of their new brand personality
- Creating an action plan that delivers the brand experience across all areas of the organisation
- Reviewing market research amongst various audiences and integrating that into the process
The result was a name change to Lightbox that was launched November 2005 and a new strategy for implementing the brand experience.
