A Different View chosen as IAAPA 2007 speakers.

A Different View, leading management and marketing consultants to the industry, has once again been selected as speakers for the IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) 2007 convention to be held in Orlando, Florida November 11 – 16, 2007.
IAAPA is the worldwide trade organization serving all sectors of the attractions industry. Its yearly convention attracts almost 30,000 visitors from all over the world and takes place over four days.
The presentation entitled “Modeling the Visitor Experience” will be held on November 15 at 8:30 am and presented by Rosalind Johnson & Sylvia Matiko, the principals of A Different View along with a panel of attraction owners and operators.
As the leisure industry has become more sophisticated, it has searched for tools that examine scientifically the visitor experience as a whole. Some attraction operators are frustrated with spending a lot of money on a new show, ride, or exhibit, only to have it be a disappointment because visitors haven’t reacted the way you thought they would. New attractions have wanted the ability to test concepts before they’re built.

The session will begin to explore this issue by giving the audience a basic understanding of how to break down a visitor’s experience into a number of components and how this could impact your attraction. It will also look at the benefit of measuring visitor experience and review case studies to show how the other attractions have modeled visitor experience and what results followed.

Speakers will include attraction owners from around the world who will share with the audience what tools they have used and the results that they have achieved.
