Family Entertainment Centers
An attractions management company in the USA had just taken over a variety of family entertainment centers. We were asked to review all their cash control procedures to find the process gaps. The first step was a mystery shop followed by a "surprise" visit that was coordinated by management. While onsite, we looked at the cash control processes for arcade, go carts, mini golf, batting cages, bumper boats, kiddy rides and birthday parties. We identified the gaps that put employees and management at risk and then made recommendations to help them tighten up some procedures. This led to A Different View assisting with writing new cash control policies.
