Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) in Nashville, Tennessee, has welcomed over 12 million audience members since being founded in 1980. With TPAC’s leadership, Nashville is now a major market for its Broadway series and, along with their three resident artistic companies – Nashville Ballet, Nashville Repertory Theatre and the Nashville Opera, TPAC enriches lives and strengthens the community. TPAC also administers one of the largest and most comprehensive arts education programs in the United States.

Kathleen O’Brien, President and Chief Executive Officer for TPAC, retained A Different View to help assess a variety of business options for future planning efforts. This required A Different View to conduct not only an options appraisal process, but work alongside the CEO, CFO, and COO to understand organizational implications for each of the options including financial and operational. Within a highly complicated and political situation, we were able to work with the board and leadership to determine the best option possible by facilitating high level meetings that considered all issues. Through this process, we were able to help TPAC determine and agree to the way forward in a collaborative way and help them with their future plans.
